Miss World 2009 Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar

Gibraltar’s Kaiane Aldorino is Miss World 2009 winner. Once again Indian stunner Puja failed to clinch the Miss World title. The two-hour global pageant show held in South Africa was won by Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar.


Dressed in white-lace evening gown, the statuesque was offered the most-sought-after crown. During the time of celebration she was showered by silver confettionstage. When her name was announced, she clapped her hands to her mouth saying: "I have no words."


When asked to describe her feelings, she said: "I am really happy."


The crowd was rooting for her since she had won the swimsuit competition. The 23-year-old administrative clerk, who hails from the British territory on the tip of the Iberian Peninsula, entered the final with a lot of hope. She was a hot favorite of the crowd.She beat seven other contestants in the final round of the show to lift the crown.
