This film made Namitha to become a hot cake in tamil Film Industry again and Namitha is again in stardom of Tamil industry. Maya gave Namitha a lot of publicity and recogonisation. Due to this Namtiha started to ignore Maya and she rejected the movie. When producers of maya contacted Namitha, Namitha blasted them and said that she was portrayed very badly in the movie.
